If you want to reformat, replace eraseDisk with reformat and delete the “JHFS+” and “diskname” parts of the command. ![]() ![]() Change “diskname” to the new name you want for the disk, and replace “diskidentifier” to the Disk Identifier obtained from Disk Utility.
